Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport has become an important regional aviation hub in southeast coast of China. It has two terminal buildings, T3 and T4, and has formed the aviation network covering all major cities in the mainland and Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan (Taipei, Kaohsiung, Taichung), and connecting Southeast Asia (Manila, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Ho Chi Minh City, Bangkok, Siem Reap, Jakarta, Bali, Angkor), Northeast Asia (Seoul, Cheju, Tokyo, Osaka, Cebu) and linking three continents including Europe (Amsterdam), America (Vancouver, Seattle) and Australia (Sydney, Melbourne). At present, Xiamen Airport has been open to the air traffic to 109 cities with 83 domestic cities, 20 foreign cities and 6 regions; 182 domestic and overseas air routes with 145 domestic air routes and 37 overseas and regional air routes; 40 airlines with 25 domestic airlines and 15 overseas airlines.

Transportation: Xiamen Airport has convenient traffic. In addition to bus and taxi, it has several airport express lines to and fro the Ferry Pier, Xiamen North Railway Station, Wutong Pier, Dongdu Pier, Wucun Bus Station, Zeng Cuo'an, Zhangzhou and Haicang. Waiting place: T3 Terminal Building: waiting room of airport express line (80 meters to the west side of No.7 Gate on the domestic arrival level); T4 Terminal Building: waiting place of airport express line (on the opposite of No.5 Gate on the domestic arrival level).
