The General Administration of Customs recently released the 2024 Comprehensive Bonded Zone Performance Evaluation. Xiamen Haicang Port Comprehensive Bonded Zone and Xiamen Xiangyu Comprehensive Bonded Zone achieved historic results, both classified as National Class A and Eastern Class A zones—the first time Xiamen's bonded zones enter the national top 10. Xiamen Haicang Port Comprehensive Bonded Zone, covering 6.27 square kilometers, focuses on bonded logistics, processing, and cross-border e-commerce, advancing specialized industry cultivation, innovative business replication, key industrial platforms, major investment projects, and first-class business environments. Xiamen Xiangyu Comprehensive Bonded Zone, covering 0.64 square kilometers, develops logistics distribution, processing, and sales services, emphasizes traditional businesses including international consolidation and distribution; and actively expands new business models such as financial leasing, cross-border e-commerce, and bonded services. It builds a nationally significant financial leasing cluster, promotes the development of aviation, shipping, integrated circuits, medical equipment, film and culture, and other real economy industries, with its used aircraft leasing ranking first nationally.
