On July 11, University Optoelectronic Display Technology Transfer Center (Xiamen) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "Optoelectronic Display Technology Transfer Center") was officially established. The Center will concentrate its efforts on the optoelectronic display industry, with a particular emphasis on emerging display technologies, innovative functional materials, and third-generation semiconductors. The Optoelectronic Display Technology Transfer Center aims to harness industrial demand as a catalyst for progress, fostering integrated development, comprehensive chain services, and holistic support to address the challenges associated with the conversion of scientific and technological achievements from academic institutions. This initiative will promote a profound integration of technological and industrial innovation. Furthermore, it will capitalize on Xiamen's strategic position as the "premier hub” for the integrated development of the optoelectronic industry across the Taiwan Strait, utilizing the transformation of scientific and technological advancements as a conduit to enhance the collaborative development of industries on both sides. As the nation's only pilot city for the optoelectronic display industry cluster, Xiamen is home to more than 2,000 enterprises along the entire optoelectronic display industry chain. This includes many major Taiwan enterprises such as AU Optronics, TPK, and TPV Technology, creating a large-scale and comprehensive industrial ecosystem.
