The First Embodied Intelligence Professional Competition, part of the 14th China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, officially launched on July 14 in the Xiamen Free Trade Zone.
The competition is now open for team registration from July 15 to Aug 15 for enterprises, universities, research institutes and individuals through the official website, with each team consisting of one to five members.
With a prize pool exceeding 800,000 yuan ($111,400), winning enterprises or projects will also receive support from a matching fund targeting 1 billion yuan to accelerate the commercialization of their innovations.
Meanwhile, the Xiamen FTZ will establish a 1,000-square-meter incubation base in the Xiangyu Comprehensive Bonded Zone, complemented by preferential support policies covering the entire lifecycle of enterprises and projects.
The competition adopts a three-dimensional "technology innovation + fund + base" empowerment model to drive deep integration across four key chains: the capital chain, innovation chain, industrial chain, and talent chain.
It features two competition tracks: Track 1 focuses on practical applications, calling for implementable solutions in real-world scenarios such as industrial manufacturing, autonomous driving, and healthcare; Track 2 concentrates on fundamental technologies, encouraging participants to propose breakthrough solutions in key areas such as multimodal perception and interaction, world models, and motion control.
