At the end of the year, the city had a permanent resident population of 5.35 million people, with the urbanization rate of 91.01% for the permanent residents. The birth rate was 7.08 per thousand, the death rate was 3.65 per thousand, and the natural growth rate was 3.43 per thousand.

At the end of the year, the registered population of the city was 3.0903 million people, with the urbanization rate of registered population at 88.3%. Among the registered population, the urban population was 2.7279 million people. The two districts of Siming and Huli together accounted for 1.3852 million people, representing 44.8% of the city's total registered population. Among the registered population, the number of male and female residents was 1.4913 million and 1.5989 million respectively, with a gender ratio of 93.27 (female=100).

 

Throughout the year, the per capita disposable income of residents was 74,249 yuan, an increase of 4.5% compared with the previous year. Among them, the wage income was 53,007 yuan, growing by 4.9%; the net operating income was 6,256 yuan, an increase of 3.0%; the net income from properties was 9,717 yuan, growing by 4.1%; and the net income from transfer was 5,269 yuan, an increase of 2.5%. The per capita consumption expenditure of residents was 49,085 yuan, an increase of 5.5%.

Throughout the year, the per capita disposable income of urban residents was 76,118 yuan, marking a 4.4% increase from the previous year. Specifically, the wage income was 54,486 yuan, an increase of 4.9%; the net operating income was 6,167 yuan, an increase of 2.8%; the net income from properties was 10,113 yuan, an increase of 4.2%; and the net income from transfer was 5,352 yuan, an increase of 2.6%. The per capita consumption expenditure of urban residents was 50,031 yuan, an increase of 5.5%.

Throughout the year, the per capita disposable income of rural residents was 36,345 yuan, marking a 6.3% increase from the previous year. Specifically, the wage income was 23,034 yuan, growing by 7.5%; the net operating income was 8,048 yuan, growing by 5.8%; the net income from properties was 1,678 yuan, growing by 1.8%; and the net income from transfer was 3,585 yuan, also growing by 1.8%. The per capita consumption expenditure of rural residents was 29,896 yuan, an increase of 5.7%.

 

Throughout the year, a total of 168,200 new urban jobs were created in the city. At the end of the year, the actual number of registered unemployed persons in urban areas was 37,000.

 

At the end of the year, the number of people covered by basic pension insurance was 5.778 million, an increase of 2.8% compared with the end of the previous year. The number of participants in work-related injury and unemployment insurance were 2.9122 million and 2.6419 million respectively, decreases of 2.0% and 4.2% respectively. Specifically, the number of non-local employees participating in the basic pension insurance was 3.567 million, an increase of 3.9%, while the number participating in work-related injury and unemployment insurance was 1.6152 million and 1.5922 million respectively, both showing a decrease of 5.4%. The total revenue of the three social insurance funds for the year was 24.766 billion yuan, with expenditures amounting to 23.703 billion yuan.

At the end of the year, the city had 29 medical institutions, 6 assistive device configuration institutions, and 15 rehabilitation institutions, all under work-related injury insurance agreements. A total of 507,800 retirees were transferred to socialized management services, with both the city's socialized management rate and community management rate reaching 99.99% citywide.

 

At the end of the year, the total number of participants in the basic medical insurance reached 4.8283 million, an increase of 2.3% compared with the previous year-end. The number of participants in maternity insurance was 2.5758 million, a decrease of 4.8%. The revenue of the basic medical insurance fund was 21.95 billion yuan, with an expenditure of 16.543 billion yuan.

At the end of the year, there were 751 designated medical institutions for medical security and 1,350 designated retail pharmacies for medical security in the city. There were also 29 medical institutions within elderly care institutions that were included in the management system under designated medical security agreement and 296 public welfare village clinics under integrated management. The expenditure on medical assistance funds amounted to 194 million yuan, providing assistance to 967,500 person - times.

 

Throughout the year, a total of 194 million yuan of subsistence allowances were distributed to 114,500 households and 171,400 person-times of subsistence allowance recipients in the whole city. Specifically, there were 113,100 person-times of urban subsistence allowance recipients, and 131.98 million yuan of subsistence allowances were distributed; there were 58,300 person-times of rural subsistence allowance recipients, and 61.9495 million yuan of subsistence allowances were distributed. A total of 43.1122 million yuan of temporary assistance funds were distributed, providing assistance to 6,245 person-times. A total of 2,818 person-times of vagrants and beggars were assisted, among which 188 person-times were minors. There are a total of 44 elderly care institutions in the city, with 13,364 beds. Specifically, there are 9 public elderly care institutions (including those government-built and privately-operated ones), with 2,812 beds; and there are 35 private elderly care institutions, with 10,552 beds.
