The value added of industries above designated size for the year increased by 9.0% compared with the previous year. In terms of economic types, the value added of joint-stock enterprises increased by 9.9%; the value added of enterprises with foreign, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan investment increased by 7.6%, among which the value added of Taiwan-invested enterprises increased by 9.0%; the value added of state-owned holding enterprises increased by 13.4%; and the value added of private enterprises increased by 6.0%. In terms of industry type, the value added of light industry increased by 4.5%, and the value added of heavy industry increased by 11.8%. The sales-to-production ratio of industrial products was 97.45%.

Out of the 35 major industrial categories above designated size for the year, 26 industries achieved growth in value added. The top three in terms of total output are as follows: the computer, communication, and other electronic equipment manufacturing industry, which saw a year-on-year increase of 9.5% in value added; the electrical machinery and equipment manufacturing industry, with a growth of 16.3%; and the metal products industry, which experienced a significant growth of 70.2%. The combined value added of these three major industries accounted for 46.0% of the total value added in industries above designated size. The value added in the railway, shipbuilding, aerospace, and other transportation equipment manufacturing industry increased by 33.8%, and the value added in the metal products, machinery, and equipment repair industry grew by 54.7%. The value added of the high-tech industries above designated size increased by 9.5%, representing 39.7% of the total value added in industries above designated size.

At the end of the year, there were 3,044 industrial enterprises above designated size in the city, among which 967 enterprises had an output value exceeding 100 million yuan. The combined output value of these enterprises accounted for 87.0% of that of industrial enterprises above designated size. There were a total of 1,550 industrial enterprises above designated size in the two pillar industries of electronics and machinery. They accounted for 50.9% of the total number of industrial enterprises above designated size, and their combined total industrial output value accounted for 59.7% of that of industrial enterprises above designated size. Specifically, the output value of the electronics industry accounted for 27.3% of that of industrial enterprises above designated size, and the output value of the machinery industry accounted for 32.4% of that of industrial enterprises above designated size.

Industrial enterprises above designated size in the city achieved a profit of 56.626 billion yuan, representing a year-on-year growth of 25.3%. The cost per 100 yuan of operating revenue for these enterprises was 82.34 yuan, a decrease of 0.38 yuan compared with the previous year. The profit margin on operating revenue was 6.8%, an increase of 1.0 percentage point. At the end of the year, the asset-liability ratio of industrial enterprises above designated size was 48.6%, an increase of 0.2 percentage point compared with the end of the previous year.

Production of major industrial products: Industrial enterprises above designated size in the city produced 50.4876 million liquid crystal display (LCD) panels, representing a growth of 7.0%; 25.7797 million liquid crystal display modules, representing a growth rate of 44.2%; 219 million lithium-ion batteries, representing a growth of 69.7%; 2.336 billion integrated circuits, representing a growth of 31.9%; and 17,100 new energy vehicles, representing a growth of 24.7% (see Table 2 for details).

 

The value added of the construction industry for the year was 85.081 billion yuan, representing a year-on-year growth of 5.7%. Construction enterprises with qualification grades in the city completed a total output value of the construction industry of 398.472 billion yuan, an increase of 8.5%. Specifically, the output value of construction projects was 363.260 billion yuan, an increase of 8.2%; and the output value of installation projects was 27.606 billion yuan, an increase of 18.6%. The newly signed contract value of construction enterprises in the current year was 327.784 billion yuan, an increase of 2.1%.
