Transportation
The value added of the transportation, storage, and postal services industries for the year was 47.291 billion yuan, representing a year-on-year growth of 14.4%. The volume of passenger transport reached 119 million person-times, an increase of 13.7%; the passenger turnover was 62.359 billion person - kilometers, a growth of 23.1%; the freight volume was 453 million tons, an increase of 3.8%; and the freight turnover was 362.088 billion ton- kilometers, a growth of 6.2%. At the end of the year, there were 191 productive berths in Xiamen Port (including those in Zhangzhou), among which 82 were berths of 10,000-ton class or above. The cargo throughput of the port for the year was 211 million tons, a decrease of 4.3%; the container throughput of the port was 12.2547 million TEUs, a decrease of 2.4%.
Xiamen Airport has 153 operational city routes, including 31 international (regional) routes, among which there are 10 intercontinental routes. There are 15 foreign (regional) airlines operating regular flights at Xiamen Airport, connecting with 29 international and overseas cities (including Hong Kong, Macao, Taipei, and Kaohsiung). The passenger throughput of the airport was 27.9069 million person-times, representing a year-on-year growth of 15.8%. Specifically, the passenger throughput of international and regional routes was 3.754 million person-times, a growth of 48.9%. The cargo and mail throughput of the airport was 375,700 tons, a growth of 19.5%.
 
Posts and Telecommunications
The volume of postal delivery services in the postal industry for the year was 843.324 million pieces, representing a year-on-year growth of 12.1%. The postal industry completed 6.72 million pieces of postal letters,197,000 parcels, and 784.062 million express deliveries, with the revenue of express delivery business reaching 9.8 billion yuan. The total volume of telecommunications services was 7.863 billion yuan, an increase of 6.3%; the revenue of telecommunications business was 8.248 billion yuan, an increase of 3.6%. There were 892,700 fixed-line telephone subscribers in the city, a decrease of 3.4%; there were 7.0412 million mobile phone subscribers, an increase of 1.6%. Specifically, there were 4.1472 million 5G mobile phone subscribers, an increase of 21.5%; there were 3.0561 million fixed broadband Internet access subscribers, an increase of 1.9%; there were 6.3642 million mobile Internet subscribers, a decrease of 0.4%; and there were 19,300 5G base stations, an increase of 31.5%.
 
Tourism 
The city received a total of 128.2369 million domestic and foreign tourists for the year, representing a year-on-year growth of 16.6%; the total tourism expenditure of tourists was 191.103 billion yuan, an increase of 21.9%. Specifically, the number of inbound tourists staying overnight reached 2.3072 million person-times, representing a two-fold increase; the foreign exchange earnings from tourism were 1.762 billion US dollars, representing a 2.3-fold increase. The city received 125.6159 million domestic tourists, an increase of 15.1%; the number of domestic tourists staying overnight was 55.0108 million person-times, an increase of 14.8%; the revenue from domestic tourism was 178.559 billion yuan, an increase of 16.7%. At the end of the year, there were 40 star-rated hotels in the city (including 20 five-star hotels).
 
Convention & Exhibition
A total of 193 various exhibition activities were held for the year, representing a year-on-year growth of 27.0%. The total exhibition area was 2.4576 million square meters, an increase of 8.7%. There were 4,593 commercial conferences with more than 50 participants, an increase of 4.8%, and the total number of participants was 831,800, an increase of 2.7%. The overall economic benefits of the convention and exhibition industry amounted to 30.983 billion yuan, an increase of 7.8%.
