ECCO（厦门）有限公司系厦门市政府2004年引进的重点外商投资项目。公司为世界知名鞋类制造商――丹麦ECCO鞋业集团投资设立，于2004年6月落户厦门市同安区城南工业区，总投资2500万美元，注册资金1000万美元，专业从事ECCO牌鞋类的生产加工。
ECCO（厦门）有限公司引进ECCO鞋业集团独创的高科技制鞋设备，将传统的制鞋工艺与ECCO的高科技技术融合在一起，它将成为ECCO集团迄今为止最大、最先进的工厂。
ECCO（厦门）有限公司于2004年8月动工兴建，2005年初建成第1幢生产车间，4月正式投产。公司目前拥有员工1500余人，其中外籍专业技术人员20人。公司荣获福建省2005年度“百家优秀外资企业”、厦门市同安区2005年“纳税大户”等荣誉称号。
建设中的ECCO（厦门）有限公司将由5个生产车间组成，每个生产车间拥有操作工人500人，年产ECCO鞋100万双，最终形成拥有员工约3000名，年产ECCO鞋500万双，销售总值达数10亿人民币的全球领先的工厂。

Brief Introduction to ECCO (Xiamen) Co. Ltd.
ECCO (Xiamen) Co. Ltd. is the key foreign funded project introduced by Xiamen Municipal Government in 2004. The company was invested and established by the world famous shoe manufacturer ―― the Danish ECCO Sko A/S in June 2004 in Xiamen Tong’an Chengnan Industrial Zone, with a total investment of US$25 millions and the registered capital of US$10 millions, engaged in ECCO brand shoes manufacturing.
ECCO (Xiamen) Co. Ltd. has introduced ECCO Sko A/S’ unique high-tech shoe making equipment, combining the traditional shoe making skills with the ECCO-typical high technology. The factory will be built into the largest and most advanced factory among ECCO Group.
Construction of the Company started in August 2004, with 1st Factory Hall being completed early 2005 and production commencement in April 2005. The company has currently around 1500 employees, 20 of which are technical expatriates. It has been awarded the honorable titles of the provincial “100 Top Excellent Foreign-funded Enterprises”, “Big Tax Payer of Tong’an District” etc in 2005.
ECCO (Xiamen) Co. Ltd., still in the process of building up, are composed of 5 production halls. Each production hall will have about 500 operators, seeing an annual production capacity of 1 million pairs of ECCO shoes. The company will eventually develop into a world leading factory with a total number of around 3000 employees, an annual production output of 5 million pairs and a total sales value of several billion RMB.
