Xiamen's first joint laboratories announced
The Xiamen Science and Technology Bureau recently recognized the first batch of seven joint laboratories in the city. These laboratories, led by seven prominent Xiamen-based enterprises such as AmoyDx, collaborate with 11 universities, research institutions, and medical organizations from both within and outside the province. The laboratories cover key sectors such as innovative pharmaceuticals, gene and biotechnology, energy storage, next-generation artificial intelligence, new-generation information technology, and integrated circuits. They aim to conduct applied basic research and tackle key technological challenges in these fields, building a new mechanism that bridges basic research, technological breakthroughs, and industrial application. This initiative is set to accelerate the transformation of scientific innovation into new drivers of high-quality development in Xiamen.
